A Message from the President

As many of you now know, September Song Musical Theatre was forced to go dark this year in an effort to avoid total collapse. Instead of our traditional full scale musical production, we organized a musical revue to raise funds to help us return to the stage in 2012 with a full scale musical production for the entire family. Last weekend, past stars of September Song & special guests took to the Carroll Arts Center stage & performed for a sold out house. The turn out last Saturday far surpassed our expectations & warmed our hearts. This “support in numbers reaffirmed to us the community’s desire to keep September Song alive & well for years to come.

To those who were turned away on Saturday night because we were sold out, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. We set out on “uncharted territory” Saturday night & while we feel that we did a lot right, we definitely came away with things we can improve on for the next revue. We thank you for your understanding & hope you will join us at a future event.

To those who were able to attend & share their love & support with us on Saturday evening, words cannot express how thankful we are to each of you for being there. We are on the road to get to where we need to be financially so we can continue the Carroll County tradition that is September Song.

Sincerely,                                                                                                                                                                    Allen Cross                                                                                                                                                    President                                                                                                                                                     September Song Board of Directors
